Safety

What does Velvetly not do?

No auto-login / no credentials scraping
No follower-farming / no DM blasting to unknown users
No impersonation across accounts
No content scraping from other creators

Velvetly is strictly a creator-assistant. It works inside the inbox you already use.

Automation & auto-reply

How does auto-reply decide what to send?

Auto-reply uses the same voice profile and context-reading as manual drafts. When a fan in an enabled tier sends you a message, Velvetly:

Reads the whole conversation so the reply actually responds to what the fan said
Applies your voice profile (tone, pet names, emoji style)
Checks the tier-specific rules you set (e.g. "never auto-send PPVs to at-risk fans")
Sends the reply and logs it for your review

How do I keep auto-reply safe?

Start with one tier only (Loyal, usually). Expand after a week if quality holds.
Review the auto-sent log daily for the first two weeks.
Turn it off when you're online and actively replying yourself, so you don't get double-sends.

Can I auto-send PPVs?

Yes, but it's gated behind an extra toggle per fan tier. Velvetly price-tunes per-fan based on tier and historical spend (whales 1.8× your base price, at-risk 0.7× to pull them back). Most creators start with auto-PPV on for Loyal only, and add tiers after seeing the unlock-rate hold.

Privacy & data

Does Velvetly store my content?

Your originals stay on OnlyFans or Fansly. We never delete anything there, and a PPV is delivered by the platform from its own servers.

What Velvetly does keep: for each vault item, the metadata (name, type, price, tags) plus a copy of the preview image the platform already serves for it, stored in a private, encrypted Velvetly bucket for up to 365 days. That copy exists so the AI can see what an item shows and write a usable description or PPV line; without it, it would be guessing from a file name.

Full-size originals are copied only if you have given us written permission for a specific comparison (off by default, at most 20 photos), and those copies expire after 90 days. Photos you upload to Retouch are a separate feature with its own rules, described under Retouch below.

Delete an item on the platform and it disappears from your Velvetly vault on the next sync; its preview copy expires on its own within the 365 days.

Does Velvetly store my fan messages?

We keep your conversation history with each fan so Velvetly has the context it needs to draft replies in your voice and surface coaching suggestions. Your own outgoing messages are also sampled to keep your voice profile current.

That history stays inside your own Velvetly account. We don't sell or share message content with anyone, and we don't train any AI on it beyond your personal voice profile. See the Privacy Policy for the full treatment.

Who can read my voice profile or draft history?

Only you. Voice profiles and draft history are scoped per creator, and voice profiles are never cross-used. Admins see aggregate usage (credit counts) and what you send us yourself (feedback and its screenshot); for support, the primary administrator can also open your Retouch before-and-after images and your cached vault previews.

What about GDPR / data export / deletion?

You can delete your account in Settings. That removes your voice profile, fan CRM, messages and photos. Your invoices stay with Stripe, our payment provider. For a copy of your data or any other GDPR request, email support@velvetly.io.

AI credits

What is an AI credit?

One credit = one AI action. A draft generation (three variants at once), an auto-reply, a warm-back nudge, or a mass-DM copy generation each count as a single credit. The fan analysis on your Collections page is free.

How many credits does a typical creator burn?

It depends on how active your inbox is. One credit is one AI reply: a draft, an auto-reply or a Mass DM message. Each month Free includes 50, Starter 1,000, Pro 3,000 and Max 7,000. Your own use this month is on your plan card in Settings.

What happens when I hit my monthly cap?

Only the AI work pauses until the next billing cycle: drafts, auto-replies and Mass DM messages. Everything else (the extension, your fans, earnings and vault, drafts already written) keeps working. If you regularly hit caps, upgrading one tier usually costs less than a single saved evening of typing.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Credits reset every billing month. The caps are sized so typical usage doesn't touch them, so roll-over would just be a rounding discount in most months.

Retouch (photo editing)

What does Retouch do to my photos?

Retouch smooths skin and lifts the light in one click, like a professional beauty editor. Same person, same pose, same background: no face swaps and no reshaping. A photo takes about 15 seconds, and you compare the before and after before you download anything. The result comes back at about one megapixel, also from a larger original.

Velvetly never posts a photo for you. You download the result and post it where you choose. Where you publish an edited image, you handle any labelling that the platform or the law requires.

How many retouches does my plan include?

Every plan includes retouches each calendar month: Free 5, Starter 15, Pro 50 and Max 150. They are separate from your AI credits, so a retouch never uses up a draft.

A retouch counts when the result appears, whether you download it or not. A failed run doesn't use one of your monthly retouches, and running a photo again uses another retouch. On the Free plan you can start up to 5 retouches a day. On a paid plan you can start as many a day as your plan includes in a month, so you can use your whole month in one day. On every plan, a run that fails counts toward the day's starts. Unused retouches don't roll over, and there are no extra retouches to buy.

What happens to the photos I upload?

Camera metadata is removed on upload, including GPS location.
Your photos and results are stored in a private, encrypted Velvetly bucket and stay there until you delete them in the Retouch studio. Deleting your account removes them too.
Our model host processes each photo through a private link that expires after 15 minutes, with one of two fixed editing instructions. There is no text prompt, so nothing you type travels with the photo.
Besides you, only the primary Velvetly administrator can open your before-and-after images, for support and quality review.

Can I retouch photos of someone else?

Only with their consent. By uploading a photo you confirm that it shows you, or a person who agreed to have their image edited and used this way. No minors in any sexual context, and no editing of anyone into an intimate or sexual image without their consent. The Terms set this out in full.

Does Retouch work on my phone?

Yes. Retouch runs in your dashboard at velvetly.io and needs no extension, so you can upload a photo from your phone and save the result there.

Plans, billing & cancellation

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contract, no lock-in, no exit fee. Cancel from Settings → Billing and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month, and you keep access until then.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing. New credit cap applies immediately, prorated. Downgrades kick in at the start of the next billing month to avoid mid-month credit surprises.

Is the Free plan permanent?

Yes. Free is the product with a smaller credit budget (50/month), not a limited-time trial. We don't believe in forcing creators to choose a card before they know if Velvetly works for them.

The Chrome extension

What does the Chrome extension do?

It adds a Velvetly panel directly inside the OnlyFans inbox you already use. When you open a fan conversation, a subtle purple button appears next to the reply box. Click it and Velvetly generates three draft replies you can paste, tweak, or send.

What permissions does the extension need?

It runs on onlyfans.com, fansly.com and velvetly.io, and on no other site. There it reads the conversation you're replying to, puts the reply in the box for you, and sends what you approve, using your own logged-in session. For that it asks Chrome for storage, cookies (to use that session), scripting, alarms (to sync on a schedule) and network rules.

Does the extension work on mobile / iPad?

Chrome extensions are desktop-only, so the extension itself (fan sync, auto-reply, replies inside your OnlyFans or Fansly inbox) needs Chrome, Edge or Brave on a laptop or desktop. The AI Writer and your voice profile work on your phone at velvetly.io without it: paste a fan message, copy the draft into the app. Set up on your phone and, once you reach the try-it step, we email you a link to finish the extension setup on a laptop whenever you are at one.

Platforms

Does Velvetly work with Fansly today?

Yes. Both platforms are live, and you can run them from one Velvetly account: voice-matched drafts and replies in your inbox, fan sync with tiers pushed back into platform lists, earnings and vault sync, mass DMs and PPV, and posting from the planner.

One honest difference. On OnlyFans we can keep working in the background; Fansly hands out a session token that only stays valid while a fansly.com tab is open, so Fansly syncs and auto-replies run while you have Fansly open in your browser, not around the clock. That is Fansly's design, not a feature we skipped, and it is the only capability gap between the two.
