The rules

Who can refer
Any Velvetly creator — free or paid. You don't have to be on a paid plan to invite someone and earn credit.

When the discount applies
Your friend's 50% off applies to their first MONTHLY invoice only. It isn't applied to annual plans (annual is already 2 months free), and it can't be combined with another promotion.

When you get paid — the retention gate
Your reward is paid after your friend completes their SECOND paid month at full price. If they cancel during the first (discounted) month, no reward is paid — to anyone. Annual referrals are the exception: a prepaid year already proves they're staying, so that reward is paid right away.

Same-tier reward
Your credit is 50% of the plan YOUR FRIEND chose — not your own plan. Refer a Pro creator and you earn the Pro amount, even if you're on Starter. Bigger referrals earn bigger rewards.

How you're paid
As account credit applied to your next Velvetly invoice (it lowers what you pay). If you're on the free plan when you earn it, the credit is banked and applied automatically the first time you subscribe.

Refunds & chargebacks
If a referred creator gets refunded or charges back within the refund window, the related reward is reversed. Fair is fair — rewards come from real, retained customers.

No self-referrals
You can't refer yourself or a second account you control. Shared payment cards, matching sign-up details, and same-email invites are detected and don't earn a reward.

Keep it genuine
Invite real creators you'd actually recommend Velvetly to. Spammed links, bought sign-ups, and bulk-farming are not eligible; payouts beyond a reasonable volume are held for review.
Velvetly may adjust or end the referral program at any time; rewards already earned are honored. Rewards are account credit, not cash, and have no cash value. Questions? Email support@velvetly.io.
